Business Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Business Analyst in the EU for a fintech project focused on enhancing a cloud-based digital banking platform to boost scalability, performance, and integration.

The customer is a fast-growing European fintech company providing a cloud-native platform that enables banks to build modern, customer-focused digital experiences. Combining ready-made modules with full customization, it helps financial institutions launch solutions faster and more efficiently. Backed by major investors and recognized with industry awards, the company supports hundreds of banks worldwide in accelerating their digital transformation.

The project is focused on developing a cloud-based digital banking platform that enables financial institutions to launch and scale modern web and mobile banking solutions. The current phase aims to enhance the platform's scalability, performance, reliability, and integration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing, and formalizing requirements to support the development of a digital banking platform.
• Working on products and services tailored for banks, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Communicating directly with clients (banks, fintech partners) to identify needs and shape product solutions.
• Creating specifications, user stories, using case scenarios, and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
• Analyzing the fintech market and competitor landscape, contributing to product strategy and roadmap planning.
• Supporting custom implementations of the platform for banking clients, including adapting features to local regulations and business specifics.
• Participating in testing and validation processes, assisting with release activities, and gathering feedback from users and clients.

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Manager or Business Analyst, ideally in fintech, digital banking, or the banking sector, for 3+ years.
• Strong understanding of banking processes and products, such as payments, accounts, cards, onboarding, KYC/AML, etc.
• Experience working closely with technical teams (backend/frontend), with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Proficiency in writing and organizing documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams (e.g. BPMN), and technical specs.
• Hands-on experience in cross-functional Agile teams, familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Strong analytical and systems thinking skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex fintech or banking products.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
