Main duties:

  • Perform basic level border and migration management tasks, such as: border checks, border surveillance including border patrols, screening, fingerprinting and registration of migrants, gathering information, document, identity, and vehicle checks, preventing and combating cross-border crime.
  • After completing the relevant specialized training, perform return-related tasks at all stages of the return process.
  • Operate the Agency's own/leased technical equipment. e) Use European Union databases related to border checks and surveillance.
  • Identify and provide support to children, vulnerable groups and persons in need of international protection.
  • Assist in the coordination of logistics and manage the supply chain in operational activities.
  • Cooperate with the Fundamental Rights Monitor(s) assigned to the respective Frontex Field Contingent whenever so required from the chain of command and for the respective Section.
  • Support group and section leaders in coordinating teams' activities and tasks as required.
