Finance Controlling Specialist
to join our
Close & Control Team
, supporting the Italian market. This is an exciting opportunity to deepen your expertise in financial controlling while gaining international exposure in a global pharma leader.
*Your Responsibilities*
In this role, you will:
- Take ownership of financial controlling activities for a European commercial entity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and SOX requirements.
- Lead the period-end close process, including analytical reviews and preparation of reporting packs.
- Present and discuss monthly results directly with the local Finance Director, acting as a trusted business partner.
- Perform account analysis, review journals, and execute internal controls to maintain financial integrity.
- Work closely with colleagues across Finance, including Planning & Forecasting Analysts, Regional Controllers, and the GSK Operations Centre.
- Review high-risk reconciliations, assess balance sheet health, and proactively manage risks and open items.
- Support local statutory reporting and tax compliance in collaboration with external providers.
- Contribute to audit activities and group consolidation, ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables.

- 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial controlling.

- Fluency in English at a professional business level.
