Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a motivated
Application Support Engineer
to join our onboarding services team in a multinational banking environment.

You will play a key role in supporting business applications related to records management and electronic archiving, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in banking processes and data management while collaborating with stakeholders across regions. Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support for business applications related to archiving and records management
• Engage with stakeholders across various regions to understand business requirements and objectives
• Manage technical setup, deployment, and testing across environments ensuring compliance with release timelines
• Coordinate with multiple teams to resolve product issues and environment disruptions promptly
• Respond to ad-hoc technical queries and requests in a timely manner
• Facilitate onboarding processes by coordinating communication between stakeholders
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems to deliver effective solutions
• Document onboarding processes, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices
• Stay informed about developments in digital archiving technologies and best practices
• Support integration processes from planning to execution ensuring successful implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth operations and communication

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience supporting applications in an international banking environment, with an understanding of banking processes and products
• Technical background with proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems
• Experience with REST API usage and management
• Competency in SQL database management
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong self-management skills
• Effective collaboration skills within teams and across diverse stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for stakeholder engagement
• Experience coordinating integration projects from planning to execution
• Analytical skills to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions
• Proactive in maintaining knowledge of digital archiving technology and best practices
• English language proficiency at an intermediate level or higher
