Operations Intern

The Role
Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to gain hands-on experience in operations? Sonnedix, a leading global renewable energy platform, is looking for an Operations Intern to join our team for 6 months and support the delivery of innovative solar and battery storage projects.

As an Operations Intern, you'll gain practical experience across the Operations team, learning how decisions are made throughout the project life cycle for both PV and BESS technologies. You will support and shadow key stakeholders, gradually taking ownership of projects and collaborate across departments to understand how teams work together to deliver renewable energy projects.

You will gain exposure to operational processes including electricity sales and purchases, reporting, performance analysis, O&M contract management, and support for new projects and design activities. Throughout the internship, you will receive mentorship from the Head of Operations and project leads, building both technical and professional skills, while contributing directly to Sonnedix's mission of accelerating the global energy transition.

Desirable skills:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in a related field
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for renewable energy and sustainability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Experience using or developing digital tools or workflows to improve efficiency, innovation and productivity
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in spoken and written English (additional languages are a plus)
