We are managing a recruitment on behalf of a leading global organisation from the professional services sector, which is currently expanding its HR operations in Poland.

As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced HR People Services Advisor to support the HR People Services Team Leader in delivering a high-quality, efficient, and compliant HR service across multiple international markets.

This role combines operational expertise, stakeholder partnership, and mentoring responsibilities — offering the opportunity to contribute to the development of a newly established HR team supporting a global network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the HR People Services Team Leader in managing day-to-day HR operations and ensuring services are delivered in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers, resolving straightforward cases and escalating more complex matters when appropriate.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice on HR processes, policies, and employment law (particularly UK), ensuring compliance and best practice.
  • Serve as an escalation point for HR Administrators and Assistants, providing direction and coaching to maintain service quality.
  • Support HR Managers with complex or sensitive cases, such as occupational health referrals or regulatory matters.
  • Coordinate shared team activities, including oversight of case management systems, shared mailboxes, and service workflows.
  • Deliver accurate HR data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and SLA monitoring.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, driving efficiency, automation, and standardisation.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in HR documentation, records, and case handling.
  • Lead or contribute to the training, coaching, and upskilling of HR team members, supporting their development and the integration of new scope.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring HR People Services priorities are effectively represented.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with HR colleagues and business stakeholders globally.
  • Deputise for the HR People Services Team Leader when required.

About You

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in HR, with exposure to a wide range of employee lifecycle processes.
  • Solid technical knowledge of HR procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience supporting or coaching colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and the ability to apply it in day-to-day HR operations.
  • Experience working within large or complex HR environments, ideally in an international or shared services setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to maintaining high standards under pressure.
  • Confident communicator, capable of handling sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday or ServiceNow preferred.
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent English (C1/C2 level) required; Polish, German, or French would be an advantage.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and positive attitude towards change and continuous improvement.
