We are seeking an experienced Senior Defense Advisor based in Poland to join our team, leveraging deep networks within the European Union (EU) and Polish defense institutions to deliver firsthand policy and security intelligence, driving our strategic initiatives in the global defense arena.

Job Overview

As a Senior Defense Advisor, you will utilize your extensive connections within EU defense institutions and Polish government bodies to provide critical insights into defense policies and security strategies. You will analyze EU and Polish defense trends, advocate for strategic interests, and foster partnerships to strengthen Global Insights' influence in the defense and security domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage networks in EU defense institutions and Polish government bodies to obtain firsthand defense and security intelligence.

• Monitor and analyze EU and Polish defense policies, including military modernization programs, NATO cooperation, and regional security strategies.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key defense policymakers, military officials, and security stakeholders in Poland and the EU.

• Provide strategic advice to internal teams and clients on navigating defense regulations, procurement processes, and security landscapes to achieve business objectives.

• Advocate for Global Insights' interests in defense policy discussions, government consultations, and international security forums.

• Produce high-level reports on defense and security trends, risks, and opportunities impacting global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Defense Studies, International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in defense policy, government relations, or security advocacy, with a focus on defense and security issues.

• Established networks within EU defense institutions and Polish defense bodies, with a proven ability to access firsthand defense and security intelligence.

• Strong understanding of EU defense frameworks and Polish security policies, including NATO commitments, defense procurement, and regional security dynamics.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish; additional EU languages (e.g., German, French) are a plus.

• Proficiency in policy analysis, stakeholder mapping, and strategic communication.

Preferred:

• Master's degree or equivalent in Defense Studies, Security Studies, or International Relations.

• Experience working with or within EU defense institutions, Polish defense agencies, or international organizations.

• Familiarity with cross-border defense cooperation or arms trade negotiations.

• Track record of building strategic partnerships in defense and security spheres across the EU and Poland.
