Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
L3 / Cloud Solution Architect
to support and oversee complex cloud infrastructure environments with a primary focus on
Microsoft Azure (95%)
and limited workloads on
AWS (5%)
. The role will involve handling L3-level critical operations, leading problem resolution, designing scalable cloud solutions, and supporting architecture-level decision-making. The candidate should be able to work closely with senior client stakeholders, participate in war rooms for critical incidents, and provide expert guidance on cloud operations and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• L3 On-Call Support (Every Three Weeks)

• Handle only L3-level critical incidents related to Azure and AWS environments.

• Participate in war rooms and ensure war room initiation within 15 minutes of a critical issue.

• Provide expert technical leadership during high-severity incidents until resolution.

• L3 operational tasks

• Lead technical coordination for

• Change Requests (CHG), cross-functional dependencies, and requirement clarifications.

• Problem ticket analysis, RCA preparation, and long-term remediation planning.

• P1 critical incident resolution, driving cross-team alignment and closure.

• Architecture & Design Responsibilities

• Design and improve operational processes including:

• Cloud maintenance methodology, patching strategies, automation and optimization plans.

• Lead infrastructure and PaaS planning & design, including scaling, modernization, and transformation initiatives.

• Evaluate and recommend best-practice cloud architecture patterns.

• Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a direct technical contact for the client for operational, architectural, and strategic discussions.

• Provide clear communication during critical incidents, planned changes, and infrastructure recommendations.
• Build trust with client leadership by delivering high-quality technical insights and guidance.

Required Skills & Experience (Primary Must-Haves)

• 8–12 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure / Solution Architecture Azure roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure services (IaaS + PaaS + Networking + Security + Governance).
• Working knowledge of essential AWS services.
• Managed L3-level incidents or acted as L3 SME
• Has led/participated in war rooms for P1/P2 critical incidents
• Experience in RCA creation, Incident/Change/Problem (ITIL)
• Azure Monitoring tools knowledge (Log Analytics, App Insights, s)

• Solid understanding of:

• Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes (ITIL preferred)

• Azure-native monitoring, diagnostics, and automation tools

• Designed, implemented, or supported cloud architecture solutions

• Strong communication & client-facing exposure

Secondary (Good-to-Have) Checks

• Azure Architect Certification (AZ-305 or previous AZ-303/304)
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional Certification
• AWS exposure (5% workload acceptable)
• Terraform / ARM / Bicep (IaC)
• PowerShell or Python scripting
• Azure Automation, Update Management
• Hybrid cloud / On-prem integration knowledge
• Cloud cost optimization basics
• Experience with modernization or migration

Work Mode

• On-call rotation required every three weeks.
• May include occasional non-business hours support during critical incidents or major releases.
