As the Analyst – GBS RTR Fixed Assets, you will support accurate, timely, and policy‑compliant fixed asset accounting across the Record‑to‑Report (RTR) process. You will maintain asset master data, process additions, transfers, and disposals, run depreciation, and prepare supporting schedules that tie out to the general ledger and group reporting.

Your day‑to‑day includes reconciling the fixed asset subledger to the GL, monitoring AUC/IO balances and capitalization readiness, maintaining audit‑ready documentation, and executing close calendar tasks. You will use ERP and reconciliation tools to improve data integrity, reduce manual effort, and contribute to standardization and automation initiatives that enhance control and efficiency.

• Support fixed asset accounting and reporting within the RTR process
• Maintain asset master data and ensure adherence to capitalization policies and thresholds
• Process additions, transfers, disposals, and run depreciation in line with close timelines
• Reconcile fixed asset subledger to the general ledger; investigate variances and document resolution
• Monitor AUC/IO balances, prepare capitalization entries, and ensure cutoff compliance
• Maintain auditready workpapers, templates, and evidence for fixed asset activities
• Contribute to data quality improvements (useful lives, asset classes, locations, mappings)
• Help standardize templates and leverage ERP tools/automation to reduce manual interventions

• Experience in fixed asset accounting, RTR/controllership, or related finance operations (shared services/global process exposure preferred)
• Working knowledge of the fixed asset lifecycle: master data, additions, transfers, disposals, depreciation, and periodend close
• Awareness of capitalization policy, useful life settings, componentization, and impairment indicators
• Proficiency with ERP fixed asset modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA or Oracle) and strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots)
• Understanding of internal controls, audit readiness, and documentation discipline
• Analytical problemsolving with high attention to detail and reliable time management across recurring deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication for workpaper narratives and exception reporting
