About the Role

The modern gig economy is no longer only drivers, couriers, and freelancers. The fastest-growing segment is digital creators—influencers, streamers, podcasters, and online educators—who rely on live engagement, instant monetization, and global audiences. Yet they face fragmented payout options, slow cash flows, high fees, and lack of transparency.

As Director of Gig Economy, Creators & Streaming Solutions, you will take full responsibility for building ZEN's global proposition for creators. Your mission is to design financial infrastructure that enables influencers and streamers to monetize in real time: during live events, campaigns, and fan interactions. You will leverage ZEN's complete ecosystem—payments, multi-currency accounts, wallets, payouts, and acquiring—to make real-time monetization flows possible at scale.

This is not about selling checkout or a single payment solution. It is about constructing creator-first infrastructure that blends technology, financial services, and global rails into a seamless experience that creators, fans, and platforms adopt as the new standard.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global strategy for creator and gig economy monetization.

• Build instant, transparent payout flows embedded in streaming platforms, live interactions, and fan tipping ecosystems.

• Partner with leading platforms, agencies, and integrators (e.g. Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Patreon, Buy Me a Coffee) at C-suite level.

• Develop solutions for dynamic campaigns—allowing influencers to run instant fundraising, donations, or sponsorship activations during a live stream.

• Create financial tools (wallets, accounts, payout engines) tailored for creators to manage cash flow, FX, and global earnings.

• Build and scale a vertical team covering commercial growth, product development, and regulatory alignment.

• Own full P&L responsibility, ensuring global adoption and profitability.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years in fintech, creator economy, digital entertainment, or social platform leadership.

• Proven global experience building and scaling monetization solutions.

• Strong network with global content platforms and agencies at C-suite level.

• Deep understanding of streaming monetization models, tipping economies, and compliance requirements.

• Ability to inspire both creators and platform leaders, while building scalable financial infrastructure.

• Track record of P&L ownership and building cross-functional, high-performing teams.
