InfectoPharm Arzneimittel und Consilium GmbH is a family-owned German pharmaceutical company specializing in medicines across pediatrics, infectious diseases, psychiatry, dermatology, pulmonology and otolaryngology. We manufacture over 140 pharmaceuticals, medical devices, health-related cosmetics, and nutritional products.
In recent years, we have been growing rapidly – we have established subsidiaries in Austria, Italy, the United Kingdom and France, and our products are now present in more than 30 countries. Role Overview
As a
key leadership figure
, you will shape our market entry strategy and lead and develop the Sales and Marketing organisation in Poland. This position combines strategic commercial and marketing leadership with sales execution, supporting distribution, product launches, market penetration, tender participation and pharmacy chain management. The role requires collaboration with headquarters and local cross-functional teams and external partners (Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance).
As Senior Sales & Marketing Manager you will:
- Develop and execute national marketing and sales strategies that drive prescription growth and market share across key therapeutic areas, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, portfolio priorities, and evolving healthcare dynamics.
- Design and implement a robust national distribution strategy across wholesale, retail, and hospital channels, optimizing availability, logistics efficiency, and commercial terms to secure consistent patient access and partner engagement.
- Build, lead, and empower a high-performing field sales team with clear performance metrics, strong regional leadership, and continuous capability development — fostering a results-oriented culture focused on accountability, collaboration, execution and customer excellence.
- Lead strategic launch planning and commercialization for CNS medications for neurodevelopmental conditions, dermatology Rx and hospital antibiotic portfolios — ensuring cross-functional coordination (medical, regulatory, supply, finance) and seamless rollout from pre-launch to post-launch performance tracking.
- Monitor and drive commercial performance through structured KPI reviews, in-depth analytics, and proactive coaching — ensuring compliance with promotional codes, ethical marketing standards and internal SOPs.
- Manage the marketing and sales budget with financial discipline and agility, prioritizing high-ROI initiatives, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining profitability while supporting sustainable growth.
- Act as a strategic business leader, providing market intelligence, competitor insights, and commercial recommendations that influence portfolio strategy, pricing, and investment decisions.
Key Competencies & Skills
As our ideal candidate, you will have a university degree, MSc or MD, or MBA in business/ marketing field and proficiency in both written and spoken Polish and English. In addition, we expect you to have:
- Proven experience (min. 7–10 years) in sales and marketing roles within the pharmaceutical industry in RX segment
- Previous experience in CNS (especially psychiatry), dermatology, and collaboration involving hospital medicines is a distinct advantage
- Excellent team leadership and managerial capabilities, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders across all levels
- Strategic marketing expertise (brand planning, multichannel campaigns, congresses)
- Robust analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and a results-oriented mindset
Reporting Line
Reports directly to the Managing Director, InfectoPharm Polska
Location
Warsaw-based with hybrid working arrangement (option for 1-2 work-from-home days weekly)
