Job Description

Master Data is vital information crucial for business operations. It serves as a central source of fundamental business data utilized across numerous systems, procedures, and departments. This significant corporate data encompasses details about customers, materials, suppliers, and Finance.

In this position, you will be part of a global team responsible for delivering efficient support concerning Master Data Management and analysis, functioning within a complex, cross-functional, and international setting.

Your primary responsibilities as a Global Master Data Specialist would involve:

  • Visualizing end-to-end processes and tools in the Master data domain to enhance Data Quality, optimize data maintenance procedures, and strengthen control.
  • Gathering business needs and collaborating with the Master data manager to devise solutions across all facets of our data management structure.
  • Recognizing pertinent business stakeholders and closely collaborating with I-BPO.
  • Accountability for data quality, including the cleansing of relevant data objects within the designated Data Domain.
  • Serving as a Champion Master Data Management for the applicable domain within the JDE landscape, which encompasses IT and organizational aspects.
  • Identifying enhancements and collaborating with the MDM Ops Team to ensure successful implementation.
  • Participating as a project member in initiatives related to the pertinent data domain.
  • Maintaining the Master data governance documentation for the relevant domain and ensuring its utilization during integration projects.
  • Acting as the initial point of contact for the business regarding data quality, inquiries, enhancements, etc.

For this role as a Master Data Operations Specialist, we seek an individual with the following competencies and background:

  • Professional background in master data management
  • SAP System proficiency is mandatory
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, with experience handling substantial datasets
  • Robust data analytical capabilities, fervor for early adoption of digitalization
  • Effective team player
  • Proficient in English for both written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work at the office three times per week
