HR Project Deployment Manager

Location: Warsaw, hybrid work: 3 days from the office, 2 days from home

Be part of the HR Portfolio and Project Management team at AstraZeneca, a global team of project managers leading transformative initiatives, from M&As to the integration of Digital and AI technologies. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced setting where growth is constant.

The Deployment Lead has a key role in driving project implementation and managing organizational change. This position demands a unique blend of project management skills and expertise in change leadership. The individual will ensure successful project deployment, collaborate with stakeholders, and steer organizational change to meet project goals. The Deployment Lead will also play a crucial role in risk management, issue resolution, and seamless integration of new processes or technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities and a deep understanding of change management principles.

Typical activities will include:

  • Management of project governance within the HR Portfolio framework
  • Mobilization of required resources in collaboration with the Sponsor
  • Development and management of detailed project plans, tracking progress, resolving issues, and escalating when necessary
  • Leading the development and tracking of readiness criteria to ensure team success
  • Balancing short- and long-term planning through regular meeting structures
  • Creating contingency plans as needed
  • Team management to ensure on-track and efficient project activities
  • Meeting data requirements
  • Managing project budgets, tracking spending, and addressing potential issues
  • Supervising third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery as per SLAs and budgets
  • Developing transition plans for smooth project integration into BAU with knowledge transfer
  • Tracking benefits to showcase business case delivery and ROI

Skills:

  • Project Management: 3-5 years experience in project management with expertise in planning, execution, resource management, and risk mitigation
  • Change Management: Proficient in driving organizational change, engaging stakeholders, and effective communication
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams through project deployment and change initiatives
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for project updates and driving change across organizational levels
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled in issue identification and resolution during project implementation and change management
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with diverse teams for successful project deployment and change adoption
  • Adaptability: Flexible and capable of adapting to evolving project requirements and organizational dynamics
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills for assessing project and change impact and making data-driven decisions
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of project technical aspects for effective communication with technical teams
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and change initiatives concurrently
  • Tools: Proficiency in PowerBI or similar data visualization tools preferred for monitoring, analysis, and reporting needs
