HR Project Deployment Manager

Location: Warsaw, hybrid work: 3 days from the office, 2 days from home

The role is within the HR Portfolio and Project Management team, a dynamic global team of project managers responsible for driving pivotal transformations across the business, ranging from M&As to the adoption of Digital and AI technologies. This is an incredibly fast-paced and stimulating environment, where development unfolds on a daily basis.

The Deployment Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation of projects while also driving and managing change within the organization. This position requires a unique combination of project management skills and change leadership expertise. The individual will be responsible for ensuring successful project deployment, coordinating with various stakeholders, and driving the necessary organizational change to achieve project objectives. The Deployment Lead will also be instrumental in mitigating risks, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless integration of new processes or technologies into existing structures. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities, coupled with a deep understanding of change management principles and practices.

Typical activities will include:

  • Management agreed governance for projects within the HR Portfolio framework
  • Working with the Sponsor to mobilise the resources required for the delivery of projects
  • Development and management of detailed project plans to ensure it remains up to date, rigorously tracking line items, resolving issues and escalating when required.
  • Leading the development / tracking of robust readiness criteria to ensure teams are set up for success
  • Ensuring a balance of short- and long-term planning is achieved through weekly / quarterly meeting structure to look ahead as well as manage the short term deliverables
  • Development of contingency plans as required and applicable
  • Management of team members to ensure all activities remain on track and are delivered in the most efficient way
  • Ensuring data requirements are fully met
  • Management the project budgets, tracking spends and highlighting any potential issues
  • Management any third parties to ensure they deliver on time, to the agreed SLA and within budget
  • Leading the development of transition plans to ensure project work transitions smoothly into BAU with appropriate knowledge transfer
  • Tracking benefits to demonstrate the delivery of the business case and the agreed ROI

Skills:

  • Project Management: 3-5 years of experience in managing projects. Proficient in planning, executing, and delivering projects, including resource management and risk mitigation.
  • Change Management: Skilled in driving and managing organizational change, engaging stakeholders, and communicating effectively.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams through project deployment and change initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey project updates and drive change across different organizational levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying and resolving issues during project implementation and change management processes.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project deployment and change adoption.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and capable of adapting to evolving project requirements and organizational dynamics.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess project and change impact and make data-driven decisions.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of the technical aspects of projects to communicate effectively with technical teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and change initiatives simultaneously.
  • Tools: Desirable Proficiency in PowerBI or similar data visualization tools is preferred, with the ability to create and interpret reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support project monitoring, analysis, and reporting needs.
