In the Warsaw headquarter there is also one of 7 Finance Business Shared Services Center. Established in January 2018, it is one of L'Oréal's most rapidly growing units. BEST carries out accounting processes for 14 markets from Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. BEST consists of the following departments: Process to Payment, Cash Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury, Delivery Excellence, and Controlling, responsible for OPEX costs. What distinguishes BEST is, among other things, the constant striving for process improvement and standardization. Now we are looking for the AP Team Leader, who will share those BEST' values and know how to lead a diverse team to respond to individual development goals.

As AP Team Leader your responsibilities will be:

  • Operational calls with the Chief Accountant.
  • Team support on a daily basis.
  • Daily volumes/workload control + prioritization.
  • One-on-one meetings with AP members.
  • Trainings/problem-solving sessions.
  • Cross-teams meeting within BEST Quality Check/control (posting samples).
  • Process management (emails, calls, ad hoc reports).
  • KPI control.
  • Weekly reports control and chasing.
  • Accounts Payable aging control.
  • Pay On Time control and actions proposal for countries.
  • Month-end-closing coordination

You are a perfect match if you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant financial experience in SSC/ BPO.
  • Experience in People Management, and leading an international team would be an advantage.
  • Good command of English.
  • Good SAP knowledge.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Abilityto work efficiently in international & virtual teams.
