We are looking for a candidate eager to expand business and financial acumen in the position of Business Operation Expert, fixed term 12-18 months

Business Operation Expert

To work in Global Products & Technology organisation to support Tech Management on all matters relating to suppliers' contracts and cost data tracking. Business oriented expert to provide business and financial analysis to support shaping contract management strategies.

In this role you will...

• Help Global Products & Technology meet the need for clear, accurate and timely financial and business information on external contracts
• Ensure that commercial transactions are managed effectively and in a timely manner - this includes purchase orders creation, cross charging execution, payments control etc.(all executed correctly, any issues spotted are addressed)
• Prepare and publish reports to stakeholders to show costing progress – plan budget, prepare forecasts and track financials, manage operational budgets. Provide explanations to differences from expectation / trend.
• Support business in planning and forecasting periodic activities
• Ensure that key vendors utilized within Global Products & Technology are managed appropriately – monitor alignment with agreed contracts and raise any related risks and issues, ensuring proper escalations
• Look for efficiency on day-to-day reporting by automating as much as possible

Why you?

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master degree in Finance or Computer Science or related
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Analyst or Controlling Specialist in Business/Finance/Procurement or similar
• Familiarity with financial processes (especially P2P) and accounting principles as they relate to treatment of expenditures and impact on budget
• Team worker able to build trusting and productive business relationships with staff from a variety of backgrounds within Global Products & Technology
• Able to produce clear and concise management reports
• Attention to detail; ability to review various information analytically; logical approach that develops in-process checks to identify quickly whether data aligns with expectations
• Fluent English (minimum C1), Proficient in MS Excel, equipped with advanced excel functionalities
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• Familiarity with SAP application is an advantage
