Job Title: AP Intern

About the opportunity: We are just launching a paid AP Accounting Summer Internship Program which will give you the opportunity to work within Ascensia Diabetes Care Team and learn from the best In this role you'll ensure all payments made are accurate and adhere to all company controls and policies also enquiring all queries are dealt with and followed through in a timely manner.

Location: Hybrid - Warsaw office

What you will be doing:
  • Support in creating and processing invoices for payments made by ADC Europe
  • Supporting reconciling vendor payment clearing accounts
  • Prepare standard reports to ensure relevant information is distributed for effective control and decision making.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures across all daily processing activity
  • Deal with queries with regards to unpaid invoices/expense claims, disputed invoices/expense claims, payment cycles, etc.
  • Other ad hoc duties including filing, post, supplier statement reconciliations and assisting with retrieving foreign VAT invoices for sending to our third party supplier
  • Process ad hoc, urgent one off payments as instructed by the Team Leader
  • Support in performing the month end closing
What you need for success:
  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting
  • Basic knowledge and experience of working with ERP applications - nice to have
  • Fluent English
  • Knowledge of other European language is an advantage
