The Team: The S&P Global Mobility team is dedicated to leveraging invaluable insights derived from automotive data to provide our clients with a deep understanding of the current market, expand their customer reach, and drive the future of automotive mobility. Our team consists of highly motivated automotive experts spread across 6 countries and fluent in 10 languages. We thrive on collaboration, working closely together on projects and dedicating time to thorough research and analysis. By combining our expertise and passion for the automotive industry, we deliver innovative solutions that empower our clients to make informed decisions and stay ahead in this rapidly evolving landscape.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
  • Utilizing knowledge of the automotive market in EMEA to enrich the S&P Global Mobility databases and apply forecast methodologies, tools, and data sources to form sound forecast conclusions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven forecasts.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders through reports and presentations.
  • Supporting marketing and sales efforts of the organization.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, statistics, business, or marketing.
  • One to three years of experience in automotive research and forecasting or several years of experience working closely with the automotive industry.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken at a business level.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analysis and database manipulation skills.
  • Above-average communication skills, including writing, interpersonal, listening, and presentation skills gained with large and small audiences.

  • Additional language(s) or data manipulation skills.
