Do you have commercial instinct and can easily pick up on trends to create relevant campaigns, build the right assortments, AND seek business opportunities at the same time? Are you great at building both internal and external relationships? We sure hope so because that is what we need and want to add to the team. We're now looking for someone to take on the challenge of building our assortment as well as planning our supplier and brand campaigns for LYKO in Poland. And what does building relationships have to do with it, you might wonder? At LYKO, we want to take over the world. At least the part of the world that loves beauty. LYKO is a Swedish company with one foot in retail, our physical stores and salons, and one foot in e-commerce, where we are Sweden's largest webshop in the haircare and beauty category. LYKO has over €180 million in annual sales and more than 900 employees. Our ambition is to grow the Polish business at least three times in 2024 and ten times over the next three years. We are also present in the Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, German, and Dutch markets. How exciting is that?

ABOUT THE POSITION

As our first-ever Polish Assortment and Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring we have a relevant assortment to offer our customers. It could be a specific product or an entire category that we absolutely MUST have . Then you'll drive it further with external suppliers and our internal buyers. In addition to collaborating with global purchasing and suppliers, you will work closely with our marketing department, internal creative agency, and other stakeholders. This is why relationship-building is so important, and why we hope you're skilled at navigating that context.

Even though there's a global campaign plan to follow, there are local adaptations we can make to become locally relevant. Here you will be our guide, our north star, and we will depend on your pristine knowledge of what our Polish customers want and NEED

As we grow in Europe, we keep asking ourselves what needs to be local vs. global. It's a balance you and your colleagues back in the motherland must find together. You will own the local campaign plan, maximizing relevant sales campaigns and communication online and, in the future, also in physical stores. You will also project manage product launches of our own brands (we have 17 and counting ). As you can see, it's a position with many responsibilities, which hopefully makes it even more appealing to you

ABOUT THE TEAM IN POLAND

We are still a small but growing team in Poland, and it's important for us to build strong relationships and celebrate our wins together You will have the opportunity to work in a committed team with colleagues in sales, marketing, customer service, and translations. This position is based in Warsaw, where our office is located. You will report to our Country Manager, with a dotted line to our purchasing team in Sweden. Curious about our thoughts on hybrid work? We aim for at least three days a week in the office, and the other two are up to you, depending on the needs of the business.

WHO YOU ARE

We now have a presence in four markets outside the Nordics, and all these markets are very special to us. The potential for LYKO to grow and become a big player in the Polish market would not be possible without the current team we have and hopefully YOU. Therefore, we need you who are willing and interested in building something from scratch and being part of creating a success story. You might start out as our Assortment and Campaign Manager but in the future, who knows? Maybe you'll become Head of Purchasing or move to another department. We want you to know that this is just the beginning

We need you, an independent person with a strong drive and the ability to find solutions, with a hands-on attitude. Most likely, you have some sort of commercial/marketing or assortment background and are skilled at building long-term relationships (yes, this again, we told you it is truly EVERYTHING). But in the end, your skillset is the most important, not necessarily your previous title.

We also believe that you are/have:

• Experienced in the beauty industry or maybe FMCG; it won't be crucial, but it's a big plus if you come from that background.

• Operational background and the ability to make things happen and quickly get an overview and prioritize.

• Experience in laying out long-term plans in your position, but with us, things sometimes move fast, so it's also good if you are flexible and quick to adapt.

• Experience working with assortments in some way, perhaps by being responsible for one category? Or through sales?

• Experience creating campaign plans would be amazing. But you can't always get everything you want, can you? If so, we would also add that you have an existing network of suppliers in the industry, which is a big plus

• Fluent in Polish and English
