Job Description

Mission:

We have a fantastic opportunity in our Finance Team based in Poland. This is a challenging role in which you will be involved in various Finance Matters including Reporting, Tax, Cash Management and Internal Control

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring tax and accounting integrity and documentation based on local GAAP and IFRS
  • Managing month-end close and manage interactions with Business and Project Team
  • Ensuring all financial reporting (P&L, Full B/S and Cash flow) for his/her perimeter / organization
  • Ensuring quality of Internal Control of financial processes
  • Coordinating audited and release statutory books of accounts
  • Managing treasury activities and cash forecast
  • Manage month-end closing activities delivering a full trial balance, financial statements (Balance Sheet, income statement and cash-flow)
  • Ensure that month-end, quarterly and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time
  • Analyze financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders :
  • Manage project accounting: calculation of POC (profit on completion) and monthly review of projects margin
  • Provide financial data to support site management and controlling
  • Validate provisions and accruals
  • Responsible for monthly reporting in the Group tool (Magnitude)
  • Responsible for local annual audit
  • Coordination of Statutory Financials books of accounts with compliance to audit
  • Coordinate for statutory filings, supervise tax filing and tax returns
  • Monitor Regulatory changes of taxes
  • Manage treasury activities and weekly cash flow forecast
  • When appropriate, contribute to credit management including new customers credit profiles assessment.
  • Ensure management procedures are put into practice, contributing to projects and driving implementation of new solutions in finance
  • Ensure quality of internal control (in particular anti-bribery control)
  • Posting of cost invoices (transportation, administration, non-related suppliers of goods)
  • Checking calculations, collecting approvals and posting travel expenses of the employees in SAP
  • Preparing payment runs in SAP
  • Posting bank statements in SAP
  • Checking payments from customers - reporting unpaid invoices to salesmen, issuing payment requests and accounting note
  • Checking ITP prices if not below the sales prices.
  • Monitoring of available funds: currency exchange at quantum, request/deposit funds at Allmybanks.
  • Entering project calculation in SAP, checking project costs and settlement the projects in SAP
  • When appropriate, credit limits management (request new limits, reporting and documenting insurance accidents, turnover declaration)
  • Preparation of accruals calculations, updating during the year and monthly posting in SAP
  • Checking cash box settlement and posting the transaction in SAP.
  • Approval of payroll/ salary calculations with the HR department and accounting in the SAP system
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a leading finance position as a Senior Accountant, Finance Manager or equivalent
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or master's degree in accounting (minimum certyfikat ksiegowego) / in finance management or equivalent/certification such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) are preferred and further finance qualifications such as ACA, ACCA/FCCA.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), practices, standards, laws and regulations, tax computations
  • Strong strategic thinking and business problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to assemble and quickly analyze data, handle complex financial information and financial risks
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in an international team environment, in a highly collaborative remote setting
  • High level of efficiency and accuracy, excellent organization skills with accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multi tasks / multi-projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-driven and resilience/ability to adapt
  • Experience in the design and the implementation of process improvements and controls
  • Proficient in English
  • Proficiency in financial software as SAP, database and Microsoft & Google suite package
