Senior Finance Analyst Personal Systems

Description -

This role is responsible for leading and providing expertise to support WW PS Finance Category forecast processes like Budget, Sales Quota, Outlook, Flash, Game Plan, and others. The role involves leveraging PowerBI and advanced Excel skills to drive insightful visualization and reporting capabilities. It participates in cross-functional initiatives, and process improvements and policy establishment. Additionally, collaborates with business leaders to influence strategic decision-making and conducts complex financial analysis to achieve objectives effectively. The individual will represent the business unit and the organization as needed, building productive relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and participates in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborates with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope, utilizing PowerBI for data visualization.
  • Performs complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or business, utilizing strong business understanding and advanced Excel skills to effectively achieve objectives.
  • Leads and drives business initiatives, overseeing analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance, and utilizes PowerBI for insightful reporting.
  • Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies, leveraging advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
  • Forecasts financial results within a broad scope and identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development, actively engaging in their design and implementation, supported by advanced Excel modeling.
  • Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes, providing data-driven insights.
  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.

Education and Experience Required:
  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
  • Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
