The Business Technology TeamWe are on the lookout for a Salesforce Product Analyst with a product management approach to join our expanding Business Technology Operational Excellence team under the Enterprise Product division. The Business Technology unit supports all of Okta's sales technologies, with the Operational Excellence team concentrating on ensuring seamless business operations.The Salesforce Product Analyst OpportunityIn this role, your primary focus will be on supporting our Online Experience team. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and accessibility of Business Technology, and delivering prompt and efficient assistance to end-users. Collaboration with other Business Technology teams, stakeholders, and vendors will be essential in enhancing application performance, implementing improvements, and resolving issues.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to grasp their requirements and obstacles, translating them into detailed and actionable user stories
    • Carefully analyze existing processes and systems to pinpoint areas for enhancement

  • Salesforce Configuration and Customization:
    • Utilize your Salesforce configuration and customization expertise to deploy solutions aligning with business needs
    • Work with developers and administrators to devise and implement enhancements and customizations

  • User Support and Training:
    • Provide continuous support to end-users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive user experience
    • Develop and deliver user training sessions to encourage effective use of Salesforce features

  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of Salesforce data through effective data management practices
    • Create and maintain reports and dashboards offering insights into key performance metrics and aiding decision-making

  • System Integrations:
    • Collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement integrations between Salesforce and other organizational systems
    • Ensure smooth data flow and interoperability between Salesforce and external applications

  • Quality Assurance and Testing:
    • Create and execute thorough test plans to validate the functionality and performance of Salesforce solutions
    • Work with QA teams to address and resolve any identified issues during testing

  • Security and Compliance:
    • Ensure that Salesforce solutions adhere to organizational security protocols and industry standards

  • Documentation:
    • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of Salesforce configurations, customizations, and processes
    • Ensure accessibility and clarity of technical and user documentation
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 4 years experience as a technical business analyst/implementation consultant/solutions architect supporting Salesforce and associated applications
  • Minimum 2 years experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
  • Background in customer-facing support portals or self-service features preferred
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and can work effectively in a team setting
  • Experience with enterprise-level software applications and technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within deadlines
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and project management principles
  • Salesforce Certification Certifications are a plus
