Job Description:

Leadership of Transformation Excellence and CI team playing a crucial role in driving process excellence essential for the digital future of FO – Energy Risk and Accounting.

The Transformation Excellence organization is a vital part of Operational Excellence. Transformation Excellence Finance consists of approximately 50 specialists focusing on continuous improvement/transformation excellence. They work on specific deployments within Process, Finance in Business, or Functions. The team also includes a small central team responsible for managing Standard Ways of Working, Competence and Learning Curriculum, as well as a group of about 30 developers and specialists supporting Finance Operations in implementing Smart Automation tool sets to advance their digital goals. This role offers continuous improvement and change management support for Finance's Operational Excellence agenda in selected areas such as Energy Risk and Accounting.

The primary objectives include supporting the Process / Finance leadership teams by:

  • establishing a CI capability and mindset within their teams, including providing the CI Learning Curriculum where necessary,
  • developing a strategic process agenda (Integrated Process Plan) to address evolving business and functional needs, leveraging opportunities to transform the Operating Model, and using this to provide strategic context for CI activities,
  • collecting and prioritizing ideas from the broader organization (including front line) to optimize and enhance the current Operating Model,
  • implementing the CI initiatives, collaborating with other CI teams, processes, and the broader business and function as needed, ensuring the effective use of the CI methodology for sustainable benefits through disciplined and efficient change management.

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in providing training,
  • Black Belt certified in Lean Sigma,
  • Proficient in English,
  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering,
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in driving systemic improvements in transactional environments, with at least 5 years of leading or facilitating CI activities,
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in spearheading enterprise-level initiatives, with the capacity to influence outcomes, secure senior stakeholder support in developing strategies, and establishing business priorities,
  • Exceptional business partnering and influencing abilities,
  • Strong analytical, interpretative, and presentation skills,
  • Problem-solving aptitude, capable of designing and implementing new approaches based on solid CI knowledge,
  • Proficiency in identifying process gaps/waste and suggesting enhancements.
