Marketing & Sales Domain consists of business critical applications with high exposure to business operations, utilized by thousands of users representing all ABB's Business Areas and supporting global processes responsible for generating revenues of billions of dollars. We are looking for an Operations Manager to strengthen overall ownership and control over activities related to RUN area. Due to a very complex ecosystem it is vital that you will be able to keep an overview of all ongoing operations processes and initiatives, cooperate and supervise services delivered by suppliers in Operations and Support area and plan and coordinate future initiatives and changes. Your responsibilities
  • Service Delivery according to operational targets defined in Service Level Agreement and Service Operations Roadmap.
  • Driving Operational Improvements, including strategic improvement projects.
  • Availability and Capacity Management i.e. monitoring, reporting and proactive service design.
  • Change, incident and problem management.
  • Infrastructure related scope such as periodic performance reviews of Service Desk and Operations Desk OLAs.
  • Periodic review of IS inventory and Software licenses.
  • Defining functional and technical operational software development requirements that enable the service to be efficiently deliver.
  • Coordinating other team members' activities; managing vendor or vendor resources to ensure efficient setup.
Your background
  • Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and application architecture, general IT infrastructure maintenance knowledge (IT Security, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Servers infrastructure, SQL/Oracle databases, basic TCP/IP issues troubleshooting, virtualization, Cloud infrastructure Web servers, JBoss Application Server)
  • Experience in problem solving and crisis management concepts
  • Strong project management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of IT service management concepts (ITIL)
  • Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English
