HARALD PIHL is a family company with a long history. The company was founded in 1912 and is still today, over 100 years later, managed by the third and fourth generation of the Pihl family. We have been in business for so long that we have established contacts all over the world. Our longstanding experience also guarantees a vast knowledge of metallurgy.

When HARALD PIHL was founded in the beginning of the 20th century, the company traded with a wide range of alloys and metals. Today we are more focused on alloys with unique characteristics - alloys that meet very specific demands and can handle extreme environments.

Poland

We are currently looking for a Sales Engineer to strengthen our presence in Poland.

While our HQ is in Stockholm, Sweden, and we would love to see our new family member as often as possible, we are open for the right person to be stationed anywhere in Poland.

As a SalesEngineer, you will be an integral part of our current sales in Poland but also expected to create new sales. You will make sure that HARALD PIHL lives upto the standards of the most demanding customers.

You will work directly with end customers and distributors, strategize on how to navigate and win sales cycles, and ultimately close business. You are equally comfortable in both a business and technical context, interacting with executives and talking shop with technical audiences.

You will

  • Gain a mix of existing and new customers where you and the team will handle the complete sales process from lead to delivery
  • Be due diligent with a sense of urgency
  • Share insights with the rest of the sales department about sales cycles, opportunities and market conditions.
  • Stay informed on customer needs and market trends to help HARALD PIHL have an optimal market fit
  • Support the company group with sales related questions
  • Support the operations team with the required information to carry out high-quality service
  • Activate and seek out churned customers
  • Update critical order data, internally and externally
  • Work closely with the team and collaborate withcolleagues to create an overall better performance
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within a manufacturing industry context
  • An understanding about metals, materials and manufacturing
  • Solid knowledge about the Norwegian industry and it's needs
  • A due diligent and structured approach to business and life
  • Ability to travel frequently and visit your customers
  • A great sense of customer service and what it entails
  • A strong drive to accomplish goals and reach targets
  • Can demonstrate success from previous employments
  • Knows that seeing and visiting customers is a critical success factor in sales.
  • Fluent in English and Polish, bonus if you know a few Swedish words
  • Drivers license, class B
