Your responsibilities

Interns will work closely with experienced professionals in their respective teams, assisting with various finance processes and projects. The internship will provide exposure to different areas, enabling interns to gain a comprehensive understanding of finance operations.

The teams involved are:

  • A2R (Account to Report)
  • FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)
  • IT (Global IT Consulting)
  • Controlling (Center of Expertise for Vantive organisation)
  • BBS Management Team support
  • TA (Talent Acquisition Team Support)

Our requirements

  • Students or fresh graduates with a background in financial studies or linguistics/philology are preferred.
  • For the A2R and TA teams, fluency in German, Italian, Spanish, French, or Dutch will be an asset.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
  • All applicants must have a valid student status and be below 26 years old.
  • Full proficiency in the English language is essential.

Note: The internship is available only for candidates who can work in Warsaw, Poland, and are available for the on-site internship four days a week.

This 12-week internship offers students and fresh graduates a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and develop essential skills in many areas including Finance – A2R, FP&A and Non-Finance - IT. Join us at our Warsaw Office in the vibrant Powiśle district, located in the heart of Warsaw, and embark on a ground-breaking journey that can shape your future

What You Can Learn:

During the internship, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in various finance processes and teams, gaining hands-on experience in crucial areas of financial operations.

Our comprehensive program will provide you with valuable insights into:

BBS Management Team Support provides comprehensive assistance to management teams within the organization. Our team prepares communication materials, manages daily office activities, places office supplies orders, and facilitates communication between teams and stakeholders. We aim to be proactive, responsive, and flexible in our approach, and we strive to deliver exceptional service and value to our clients. Our goal is to help management teams optimize their performance, increase efficiency, and drive business success.

A2R (Account to Report): Learn how financial transactions are recorded, analyzed, and reported in compliance with global accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
C2C (Credit to Cash): Discover the intricacies of managing customer credit, collections, and accounts receivable, enhancing your skills in maintaining healthy financial relationships.

P2P (Procure to Pay): Gain exposure to the procurement and payment processes, including vendor management, purchase orders, and invoice processing, enabling you to understand end-to-end financial operations.

FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis): Dive into financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, acquiring the skills to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
Internal Controls: Explore the world of risk assessment, internal audit, and control procedures, ensuring compliance and safeguarding company assets.

Commercial Excellence: Gain experience in sales and marketing support activities, contributing to the development and implementation of effective business strategies

IT: Get exposure to various IT projects supporting our business lines globally and learn project management skills locally with a hoghly professional team of BBS experts.

Controlling: The role of the Accounting CoE is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of US GAAP and statutory financial statements for entities across the EMEA region, provide expertise in accounting matters and decisions, and build strong partnerships with EMEA Baxter Business Services centre, local country finance, commercial to support financial and accounting processes in compliance with US GAAP and statutory requirements and company's policies and procedures.

BBS Talent Acquisition Team Support provides comprehensive assistance to the talent acquisition team within the organization. Our team learns about activities such as direct search, ATS administration, interview scheduling, and administrative processes to ensure the team has the support they need to identify and attract top talent. We assist with language-specific recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates who speak French, Spanish, Italian, German, Swedish, and Dutch. Our goal is to provide seamless support to the talent acquisition team, allowing them to focus on identifying and hiring the best candidates for the organization
