The Corporate Functions and Global Markets Business Risk Management (CFGM BRM) Team acts as a valued partner to the Corporate Functions and Global Markets businesses in the identification, assessment and mitigation of risk, while cultivating practices which enable a balance of business unit performance considerations with risk excellence objectives. This role will provide an excellent opportunity for the candidate to gain an understanding of the business units within the Corporate Functions and Global Markets organizations, as well as the Second Line of Defense groups. 

The CFGM BRM Operations team supports each of the pillars of the CFGM BRM team to provide administrative, reporting and project support. The goal of the CFGM BRM Operations team is to ensure high standards are met in a coordinated and streamlined manner to improve consistency and clarity in reporting, administration, training and communication. The Operations team drives consistent and value-added risk-related reporting to Business Risk Committees and Corporate Function and Global Markets leadership as a means to monitor the Corporate Function's risk profile. The successful candidate will have knowledge of tools and techniques used for risk reporting, project management and an understanding of risk management disciplines.

What you will be responsible for

Support Billing-related risk reporting. Development of complex formulas in Excel; to provide and execute change requests on internal reporting enhancements, develop charts and graphs for internal reporting and monitoring. Support coordination of Global Markets, Corporate Finance, GHRCC and Billing Risk Committee meetings, including agenda planning, the compilation of comprehensive operational and compliance risk reporting / materials and documenting meeting minutes Work collaboratively with the other CFGM BRM pillars to ensure Operations-driven projects and initiatives (e.g., risk reporting, user access reviews, etc.) that cross over to the other pillars are appropriately executed, with clear timelines and deliverables outlined. Perform analysis of other senior management level risk-related reporting (Billing risk reporting, Business Risk Committees, Issues, Incidents, Risk Profile, Risk Forum, etc.) Perform data analysis activities. Perform various Operations BAU and ad-hoc activities / requests at the direction of management and the Business Risk Executive Build strong relationships with other team members across CFGM BRM, as well as with other groups in State Street

Proficient or knowledgeable in effective Board and Committee reporting Able to develop complex formulas in Excel (macro experience, not necessary) knowledge of Tableau, Power Query and Power BI Well organized, detail oriented, responsive, and able to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment. Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once, including quick turn-around high priority items. Strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to work independently and within a team. Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, IT or a related field of study 4+ years of professional experience in the Financial Services industry; Risk, Compliance and/or Audit experience is preferred.

Solid analytical skills, project management skills and strong risk management acumen Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to liaise and collaborate across teams / business units; experience promoting a collaborative cross-business environment that fosters change. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Teams), Tableau and Archer Fluent English speaking and writing and presentation skills.
