As the Ecommerce Sales Development Director (Logistics), you will be responsible for generating new business for our client’s comprehensive solutions, including fulfillment, transportation, order management, omnichannel, payment & fraud, and customer care solutions across the European continent. Your focus will be on bringing EU customers to the UK region and selling our client’s solutions within the UK.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new strategic opportunities within existing customer portfolios and open doors to new opportunities.
  • Cultivate relationships with new prospects, turning raw concepts into compelling business plans for both parties.
  • Manage relationships beyond the launch phase, implementing periodic business meetings to build strong and strategic partnerships.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with new and existing customers.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and conferences to represent the company.

Ideal Profile

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales/business development position in the eCommerce sector.
  • Proven experience selling eFulfillment, Fulfillment, and Contract Logistics.
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of creating solutions and identifying profitable new business.
  • Adaptable and able to sell a diverse portfolio of services.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to different target groups.
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven track record of building strong working relationships and partnerships.
  • Innovative thinker with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
  • Profound knowledge of selling techniques and experience with long and complex sales cycles.
  • Ability to work autonomously, proactively, and as part of a team, with a hands-on approach and focus on results.
