  • Lead and Develop the Accounting Team: Manage the daily functions of the accounting team to guarantee accurate and efficient financial reporting. Emphasize team growth by recruiting, mentoring, and enhancing team members' skills to build a high-performing group.
  • Oversee Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Group Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial statements on a regular basis, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Annual Statutory Reporting: Supervise the creation and submission of statutory financial statements in compliance with relevant local and international standards.
  • Optimize and Streamline Processes with Technology: Lead continuous improvement efforts by enhancing accounting processes and integrating new technological solutions.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulatory Requirements: Oversee tax calculations, VAT submissions, transfer pricing, and statistical reporting to regulatory agencies such as GUS and NBP.
  • Facilitate SOX Implementation and Compliance: Play an active role in the establishment of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and ensure compliance is maintained.
  • Support Tax Controls: Provide oversight and support in managing tax controls and related operations.
  • Collaborate with External and Internal Auditors: Work closely with external and internal auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial audits and reviews.

  • 5+ Years in a Senior Role: Demonstrated experience in managing a professional accounting team and leading financial operations with min 5 ppl in team.
  • Strong Financial Background: Solid experience in finance, either within the industry or through financial advisory roles.
  • Broad Knowledge of Accounting Standards: Extensive knowledge of Polish accounting standards and tax regulations, knowledge of US Gaap will be an asset.
  • Experience with Reporting Tools: Familiarity with financial reporting tools, preferably SAP, HFM and Blackline.
  • Proficiency in English: Proficient command of spoken and written English is essential.
  • Hands-On Approach with a 'Can Do' Attitude: A proactive and positive attitude, willing to take on challenges and deliver results.
