HR Services Specialist (2nd shift)
In this role you will have the opportunity to provide your technical content knowledge and skills with the main focus on Leave of Absence Administration, Accommodations, and reporting analysis. You will also consult with multiple levels of the organization on a variety of challenging audits and complex reporting projects. In this position, you will be considered the Subject Matter Expert and will provide support across all brands including our team members, business partners, legal counsel, and others by proactively supporting their needs, addressing escalated issues, streamlining processes and collaborating with the People Teams and leadership to ensure service is being delivered in a timely, efficiently and in an accurate manner. This position has access to confidential team member information and records.
Main Responsibilities:
Availability to work for 2nd shift (starting between 1:00 and 3:00 pm)
Maintain working knowledge and being SME of HR processes (including but not limited to leave of absence programs, federal, state and ADA laws and regulations related to accommodations and leave of absence management , FMLA, ADA disability benefits and return to work procedures as well as QRG policy and processes)
Ensure that applicable leave policies are being applied consistently, accurately, and timely across all US offices, as well as proactively identifying risks and provide proper escalation for high level resolution
Support in vendor procurement process regarding data collection as well as vendor liaison for leave and disability
Partner with the business and legal teams, managers/supervisors, and People Team Partners on leave of absence procedures, ensuring adherence with applicable leave laws, policies, and practices
Lead in the development and implementation of Leave and Accommodations communications, SOP’s, process improvement; systems enhancements (both internal and vendor platforms); reporting of trends, system audits
Complete analysis and audits of leave and disability programs. Develop and maintain leave and accommodation reports
Other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned
Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills required
Maintain in-depth knowledge of leave and accommodation policies and procedures as well as relevant industry practices
Proficient in the use of PC software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Workday and other HRIS software. Case Management software a plus.
Ability to conduct oral presentations
Ability to understand complex information and use information to make appropriate decisions
Ability to perform analytically with creative skills to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way.
