Job Description:

Serving as a trusted technical authority for global Cisco customers and partners requires a unique blend of expertise and collaboration. As a Technical Customer Engineer, you will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as a subject matter expert in networking security technologies and recreate customer issues in Cisco labs for efficient troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide guidance on configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco products.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge bases, troubleshooting guides, and documentation for global use.
  • Develop and share intellectual capital, including training and documentation, for the benefit of global customers and partners.
  • Engage with the latest industry standards and best practices to author requirements and review specifications for serviceability teams.
  • Provide escalation support, recognize and submit bugs, and build reusable lab setups to optimize problem-solving efforts.
  • Solve complex problems through innovative troubleshooting and experimentation, offering guidance to other engineers.
About You:
  • Bring at least five years of related experience in technical support for networking and network security, equivalent to CCIE level knowledge.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with a foundation in Linux/UNIX command line tools and environment.
  • Possess strong troubleshooting skills, analyzing logs and data to resolve complex issues.
  • Knowledge and experience in Network Access Control (NAC) or Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) are highly valued.
