Job SummaryThis role identifies, researches, and contracts prospective customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization. The Account Manager also responds to more complex customer inquiries by organizing visits to current and prospective customer sites, introducing products to expand sales.
Furthermore, the Account Manager delivers high-quality customer service by applying detailed product knowledge, which allows for further negotiations of prices and delivery times within established limits of authority to close the sales process. In addition to the tasks mentioned, developing long-term sales plans for key customers and monitoring or adapting sales activities to meet objectives are crucial skills for this role.
Responsibilities- Actively manage an existing portfolio of distributors in the area.
- Seek new distributors in Poland and Baltic States.
- Support end users of our products and solutions on a daily basis.
- Negotiate prices and delivery times with customers.
- Coach and support other Account Managers to help them close complex projects.
- Ability to work independently. We are looking for someone who is self-managed, success-motivated, and enthusiastic.
- Proactivity, ability to plan and prioritize work efficiently.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Team-player mentality.
Remote work and travel within the assigned area.
Key Competencies- Minimum secondary school education with a technical/engineering focus. Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related Technical subject preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant experience (active sales in the field, focus on technical or industrial products preferred).
- Proficiency in Polish and English (B2) for daily business communication. Other languages would be an advantage, especially Russian.
- Basic PC skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
