We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our diverse team in Warsaw as a Key Account Manager.

As a RATIONAL Key Account Manager (KAM), you will be responsible for the sustainable growth of our key account business in Poland. Your goal is to establish RATIONAL as the preferred partner by delivering tangible benefits to our customers.

This position requires both independent work and effective teamwork. As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will be responsible for building contacts, cultivating relationships, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with the Sales Director and Head of Key Account to ensure seamless support and collaboration.

Your tasks

  1. Identification of new customer opportunities
  2. Accommodating the needs and requirements of the customers
  3. Developing our Key Account market position by enhancing senior business relationships and new business strategies
  4. Prospecting and building new Key Account business opportunities in the region
  5. Collaborating with stakeholders to prepare proposals following the practices of RATIONAL and to meet the client's demand and objectives
  6. Planning and implementing sales strategies within the Key Account customers
  7. Participating in and supporting exhibitions and trade shows
  8. Understanding and translating the customer strategies into relevant customer specific concepts
  9. Initiating and overseeing new projects
  10. Actively seeking new projects for defined accounts, focusing on small to medium-sized companies in the short term and larger companies with management support
  11. Supporting the growth of the sales team working in the field to develop local accounts together with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) team
  12. Maintaining relationships with existing customers to increase sales figures
  13. Understanding and analyzing the market to identify and capitalize on untapped potential

Your profile

  1. Several years of professional experience managing medium-sized and/or large accounts
  2. Experience in sales of foodservice equipment is a plus
  3. In-depth knowledge of Key Account processes
  4. Familiarity with the food industry
  5. Hands-on and sales-oriented approach
  6. Excellent organizational skills
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with professionals at all organizational levels
  8. Proven ability to create, develop, and sustain long-term customer relationships
  9. Strong selling and networking skills, with the ability to understand and address real customer needs
  10. Great team player
  11. Excellent written and verbal Polish, excellent English skills
  12. Willingness to travel frequently for the company (approx. 70%)
  13. Professional attitude and approach
  14. Confident presenter and self-motivated to succeed
