We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager (Senior BDM), selling to the financial sector and reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director. Given the well-positioned nature of the business, this role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual.
As the Senior BDM, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing high-margin opportunities. You will be tasked with meeting monthly and annual sales targets, building a qualified sales pipeline, and overseeing the entire sales cycle. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate strong sales expertise and the ability to maintain high productivity levels. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills are also essential for success in this role.
In addition to providing expert-level pre- and post-sales support, you will need in-depth knowledge of the features, content, and functionality of all EMIS/REDD products within your region, so experience in selling SaaS products will be an added value.
Apart from a comprehensive understanding of prospecting, sales and closing techniques, along with relevant industry experience, the Senior Business Development Manager will have, or will develop, a full understanding of user workflow and content/functionality needs to help recognize opportunities within the target markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Achieving monthly and annual sales targets by achieving set KPI targets and organically growing the existing business
- Building and managing a pipeline; conducting detailed, weekly pipeline reviews with the Regional Sales Director (RSD)
- Generating new business in the territory of Poland and Central Eastern Europe
- Following company initiatives to increase turnover and also showing own initiative
- Being able to present EMIS/REDD services to a high level; attending industry events, interacting with clients and prospects, collecting contact information, promoting EMIS/REDD and distributing marketing materials
- Gaining and demonstrating understanding of the clients' workflow and providing good feedback
- Updating the CRM system and providing transparency of activity and forecasts
Required skills and experience:
- 3-4 years' experience with a proven track record in successfully selling business information products (preferably to financial or professional markets)
- Experience in selling SaaS products will be a huge added value
- Ability to open up new opportunities and develop strong relationships
- Ability to negotiate at senior management level
- Proactive and positive attitude with a can-do approach
- Diplomacy, persuasion, and strong communication skills are essential
- Fluent in both English and Polish
- Master's in Economics, Finance, Banking, or International Relations
