Job Description:

The Procurement Capability and Engagement team at Mars is seeking a dynamic individual to drive Procurement Associate development and strategic learning initiatives. As a Commercial Knowledge Management & Capability Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in providing learning and capability building to ensure that Procurement teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the evolving business landscape.

About the Role:

  • You will have a university degree or equivalent experience in any discipline.
  • A proven track record of experience in systems management, AI, and reporting, with expertise in SharePoint and PowerBI.
  • A strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to create solutions for customer problems.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to report, synthesize, distil, and draw conclusions from multiple data sources.
  • Critical thought leadership and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong project management discipline.
  • The ability to interact and collaborate across functions.

Main Responsibilities:

Knowledge Management:
  • You will be responsible for managing the Procurement Knowledge Management intranet, ensuring it is a comprehensive, up-to-date, and user-friendly resource that supports the Procurement function's efficient knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • You will manage the Supplier Gateway website, streamlining supplier engagement, improving efficiency, and delivering a seamless user experience.
  • You will oversee market intelligence platforms to enhance strategic decision-making and procurement processes.
  • You will be the business owner of Skills Assessment product for Procurement, establishing and maintaining expertise in the product to support Procurement's learning initiatives.
  • You will gather data and insights to formulate recommendations for improving solutions through technology (AI, automation, and integrations with systems).
Capability Analyst:
  • You will own Skills and Learning reporting for Procurement, enhancing the effectiveness and strategic impact of Procurement skills and learning data reporting.
  • You will combine data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive view of learning outcomes and skills assessments.
  • You will track results against KPIs and provide insights to improve participation.
  • You will generate reports for use by Capability & Engagement team, Effectiveness teams, and Line Managers to provide insights on learning outcomes and skills assessments.
