Our client is a company being part of an international industrial group providing services to the precision industry in various sectors of the economy.


We are looking for candidates for the position of:

Financial administrative, Location: Gdańsk (hybrid)


Responsibilities:

  • General accounting (taking over general accounting from our current supplier => Tax and Payroll matter being handled by the supplier).
  • Cash flow management, management of supplier accounting and general ledger accounting (including posting bank statements, sending payments, registering the administrative costs invoices in Document Management System, validation of all costs invoices, preparing reconciliations of AP and AR not cleared items and analysis of AP and AR aging reports)
  • Controlling - including costing and expenditure control, tender preparation, audits, taxation, credit policy, cash flow and investment policy, administrative contracts, insurance and property management
  • Management and supervision of the implementation of employment policies.
  • Coordination external accounting office on payroll, tax and legal aspects.
  • Representing the company in its dealings with banks, law firm, authorities.
  • Preparation and presentation of annual budgets together with the CEO
  • Corporate reporting in cooperation with the financial department of the foreign head office (including intercompany reconciliation)
  • Responsibility for budget compliance, implementation of standards and procedures
  • Responsibility for month-end, mid-year and year-end closing and analysis of business results, including consolidation within the group


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance/accounting.
  • Capable of taking care of simple accounting
  • Good working knowledge of the English language
  • Experience in international companies, including reporting in local and/or international financial systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of HR and payroll policies is welcome
  • Knowledge of Streamsoft Prestiż ERP is welcome
  • Experience in cost control in a manufacturing environment and/or project cost control is welcome
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations and their impact on compliance with business areas
  • Flexibility to work with colleaguess in other countries companies
  • Detail-oriented, especially in inventory control, asset management, cash flow management
