Procurement Category Manager Role

At 9605 GSK Services Sp z o.o., we are seeking a skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and owning the Print and Promotional materials category globally, shaping the category strategy in alignment with stakeholders and business partners.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead sourcing and negotiation initiatives in line with the strategy to deliver both top line growth and bottom line savings.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally/regionally, facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans.
  • Manage key suppliers within areas of responsibility, driving performance, value, and innovation to the business.
  • Keep abreast of external market changes, innovations, and opportunities that GSK could take advantage of.
  • Ensure GSK's Procurement policies, procedures, processes, systems, and methodologies are utilized in a compliant manner in the area of responsibility.

Requirements:
  • University degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant procurement experience.
  • Full proficiency in English.
  • Business stakeholder management and influencing, including the ability to build strong relationships and to influence without express authority.
  • Able to drive and deliver business-impacting cost savings.
  • Ability and track record to manage contract negotiations.
  • Experience leading end-to-end supplier tender/RFP/competitive bid processes.
  • Procurement expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, with a track record of managing end-to-end contract negotiations with favorable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Procurement experience within the Pharma industry.
  • Previous experience across commercial or medical engagement spend categories.
  • Indirect category management, cost model synthesis, and supplier relationship management for delivering multi-country, high-spend complex engagements.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering a multi-year strategy ensuring competitive commercial advantage.
  • Budgeting and forecasting, commercial, and financial acumen.
