Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Parts Assortment Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the assortment of parts, components required for our products or projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the assortment of parts, components required for our products or projects.
  • Perform customer request handling via JIRA, use of SAP - ERP system, Windchill, Product Data Management and C-Service.
  • Create and maintain parts in ERP and Product Data Management systems with complete master data according to parts breakdown policy.
  • Actively manage the prevention of duplicates and simplification in the parts assortment.
  • Responsible for the quality of defined parts master data and Service BOMs into ERP, Product Data Management and Product Lifecycle Management systems.
  • Ensure the parts readiness in New Product Development/Product Lifetime Care projects and its checklists implementation.
  • Ensure alignment of our part assortment with the parts catalogues teams (C-Service).
  • Collaborate with the team in case of retrofit or upgrades kit creation.
  • Support the Webshop team for translations, data management and attributes.
  • Uses judgement, initiative and experience to deal with technical service and support issues.

Requirements

  • Relevant and completed education in Electrical, Hydraulic and/or mechanical engineering.
  • Previous experience on a similar position as an added value.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a technical/commercial role in a service environment.
  • Relevant experience with Product Data Management and ERP systems will be an asset.
