About the Project

Biedronka's Data Technology team is a key player in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. As a dynamic and fast-paced retail industry, we rely on accurate and timely data to stay ahead of the competition. Our team acts as a bridge between technology and business, driving data consumption and innovation across various areas. Our projects portfolio includes a mix of technological advancements and knowledge governance initiatives.

Key Technologies

We utilize a range of cutting-edge technologies, including:

SQL

ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter)

Business Intelligence tools (Qlik Sense, SAP Business Objects)

Database administration (Teradata Vantage)

Cloud database systems (e.g. Azure, Google BigQuery)

SAP HANA, S/4HANA

Integration and file processing servers (Shell scripting)

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain data flows to address business requirements and enable data consumption
  • Develop and manage data models across all levels: physical (Data Warehouse), logical (Business Intelligence stack), mixed (self-service tools)
  • Provide support to end-users as a response to incidents reported and within the local competence center around data products
  • Collaborate with the global Data Technology team on international projects

Our Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Data Warehousing and ETL projects
  • Strong SQL programming skills
  • Knowledge of database management systems, e.g. Teradata
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to work under pressure and with considerable autonomy
  • Good command of English (as a means of communication with end-users and management)
  • Experience in reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects, Qlik Sense, or similar will be valued
