Job Description: Data Programme Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Programme Lead to join our team at HSBC Service Delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of large and complex global programmes within the Data and Analytics Office (DAO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of multiple programmes and projects within the DAO, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.
  • Develop and implement programme strategies, governance frameworks, and change management plans to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, programme managers, and project managers, to ensure effective programme delivery.
  • Manage programme risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans to address any challenges that arise.
  • Provide coaching and training to programme managers and team members to develop their skills and capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in programme management, with a strong track record of delivering large and complex programmes.
  • Exceptional understanding of data and regulatory reporting, with excellent knowledge of financial institutions and financial services.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience of working with senior executives and business leaders.
  • Ability to develop and implement programme strategies, governance frameworks, and change management plans.
  • Experience of managing programme risks, issues, and dependencies, and developing mitigation plans.
