Payroll Operations Manager EMEA
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Operations Manager EMEA to oversee the payroll processing for several countries in the region. The successful candidate will collaborate with the payroll vendor and direct the work of the team members supporting these countries.
Main Responsibilities:- Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate data submission to the payroll vendor according to the agreed process and timeline.
- Team Leadership: Plan and assign activities according to the payroll calendars, ensuring proper resource utilization.
- Monitoring and Control: Monitor case volumes and other case-related metrics and SLAs for the Iron Mountain team and for the vendor.
- Customer Satisfaction: Drive high customer satisfaction.
- Service Delivery: Constantly review existing processes and procedures, identify gaps and improvements, and make recommendations for changes.
- Payroll Controls: Ensure payroll controls are in place, up-to-date, and followed through by the team.
- Process Documentation: Ensure all processes are documented and reviewed regularly.
- 3-5 years of experience in Payroll, Finance, or HR Operations with cross-country exposure.
- Good level of understanding of UK payroll.
- 1-2 years of experience in leading teams and/or projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Payroll operations (in-house or vendor side).
- Strong background in working with HRIS, preferably Workday, as well as case management tools, ideally ServiceNow.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with key stakeholder groups.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations that require sound decision-making.
