Job Description

Boeing is seeking a highly skilled BCA Customer Support Service Engineer - Airframe to join their team in Rzeszow, Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to airlines and repair organizations for Boeing airplanes, ensuring quick and safe responses.
  • Assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle, applying Boeing design principles.
  • Research and analyze technical, operational, and quality issues, designing interim and final engineering solutions.
  • Identify and communicate deviations that could impact design intent and safety, recommending and managing resolution.
  • Develop and implement product/process improvements, ensuring supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
  • Represent the engineering community in the build through post-production environment, ensuring continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Analyze damage repair or structural modification to determine appropriate jacking and shoring, preventing collateral damage and assuring a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other structural engineers and liaison engineers to investigate manufacturing and build issues, participating in problem-solving and assisting with engineering change implementation.
  • Work under minimal direction, with flexibility to work in a hybrid model and flexible working hours.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft structure, materials, properties, and design criteria.
  • 3+ years of experience in working within airline's maintenance and/or engineering departments.
  • Solid communicator, upper-intermediate in both written and verbal English.
  • Existing right to work in Poland.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High Education Diploma in Aerospace/Aviation Engineering.
  • Experience in reading and understanding engineering models, drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience in researching engineering designs to develop defect solutions to product/process issues.
  • Experience with structural design principles for aircraft primary structures.
  • Experience in working within the airline's maintenance and/or engineering departments with 787 fleet.
  • Familiarity with challenges and type of damages with composite structures.
  • Familiarity with typical repair of composite structure.

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Boeing will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in POLAND. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Poland.
