The Opportunity

Abbott's Core Diagnostics Division is seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Sales Ambassador for Central Poland. This position will be responsible for managing and expanding existing accounts, improving customer relationships, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full revenue responsibility for 2-4 MM USD, including forecasting and target performance achievement.
  • Act as a trusted partner and advisor to customers, providing strategic account management and post-sales implementation process.
  • Manage and drive the development of customer accounts, including new product and menu expansion targeting and sales support.
  • Prepare and execute regular customer business reviews, and manage routine renewals of base business accounts.
  • Provide first-line application support and troubleshooting, and implement new assays.
  • Oversee progress of cross-functional implementation teams, and provide ongoing training and coaching to customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, with a preference for biomedical, electrical, mechanical, or medical technology degrees.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the diagnostic or medical devices industry, with a focus on managing and expanding existing accounts.
  • Proven track record in a similar position, supported by management and customer references.
  • Excellent industry knowledge, strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics, and strong solution selling and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues, and a long-term, strategic focus on account management.

Language Requirements:

  • Candidates must be fluent in local language and English, with additional languages advantageous.

Travel Requirements:

  • The position requires frequent travel, with an average of three days per week.
