Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Strategist to join our Global Business Service team in Krakow. As a key member of our demand planning team, you will be responsible for owning the 12-month demand plan for assigned markets, gathering and analyzing demand-affecting information, and communicating demand plan changes to supply planning and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning the 12-month demand plan for assigned markets
  • Gathering and analyzing demand-affecting information to finalize customer-level plans
  • Communicating demand plan changes to supply planning and other key stakeholders
  • Maintaining strong communication with supply planners to guide allocation, replenishments, and short-term changes
  • Aligning with commercial and finance teams on supply and revenue plan impacts
  • Reflecting supply constraints in the demand plan accurately and timely
  • Developing and implementing mitigation plans for supply issues, reaching consensus with commercial teams
  • Proposing and monitoring regional allocations for constrained products, taking action when deviations occur
  • Preparing and overseeing allocation plans during product shortages per commercial or legal guidelines
  • Generating statistical forecasts and comparing accuracy against commercially provided forecasts
  • Collaborating with demand planners in other regions
  • Reviewing and determining the necessity and value of safety stock
  • Leading monthly demand review meetings and challenging sales and marketing inputs
  • Assessing risks and opportunities related to the demand plan
  • Interpreting and refining statistical forecasts to improve performance and align with sales objectives
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering required; Master's degree is an advantage
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in demand planning, preferably in an international environment
  • Commercial exposure with a proven track record in demand planning/forecasting
  • Understanding of supply planning, production planning, new product introduction, and material planning
  • Profound knowledge and experience in S&OP or IBP processes are beneficial
  • Fluency in English required for effective collaboration with stakeholders
  • SAP software process knowledge is an advantage
  • High digital literacy and proficiency in IT tools (Excel, PowerBI) is required
  • Excellent coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills to deliver both detailed solutions and the big picture
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented
  • High analytical skills based on data
  • Good ability to understand the market in which the company operates
