Senior Dependency Delivery Manager

Job Description:

The Senior Dependency Delivery Manager will be responsible for actively engaging with surrounding programmes/service areas to enable business outcomes associated with the Core Banking Programme roadmap. This includes ensuring that external delivery is completed through end-to-end orchestration, tracking, scope, risk, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Actively engage with surrounding programmes/service areas to enable business outcomes associated with the Core Banking Programme roadmap.
  2. Ensure that external delivery is completed through end-to-end orchestration, tracking, scope, risk, and stakeholder management.
  3. Be a focal point in the Core Banking Programme for programmes/service areas to contact.
  4. Build trustful relationships with key stakeholders in programmes to facilitate a successful implementation of the Core Banking Programme roadmap outcomes.
  5. Explain the Core Banking Programme roadmap, timelines, milestones, and ways of working to help the delivery partner identify the impact in service areas.
  6. Work closely with Core Banking blocks/service area and identify all delivery needed dependencies from domains.
  7. Align delivery plans with external hubs, technology teams, and business.
  8. Ensure other service areas follow the Core Banking Programme funnel process and timelines for their requests from the Core Banking Programme.
  9. Work with the domain to secure workforce planning and get their commitment to deliver for upcoming PI milestones.
  10. Support Dependency Management Capability Owner to update the domain budget needs and follow up that budget targets are met.
  11. Responsible for internal and external teams' alignment to a common plan, conduct regular meetings with other programmes, highlight conflicting priorities, and escalate these.
  12. Identify risks and report these in the Core Banking Programme risk log.
  13. Responsible for supporting work-management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  14. Ensure dependency status, including escalations, is clearly reported and aligned internally and with delivery partners in service areas.
  15. Continually work towards making improvements in dependency management process.
  16. Responsible for fortnightly Dependency Management Reporting.
  17. Support release deployment, offer, and migration plans and activities in collaboration with Release Management and Implementation Teams.

  • Build effective relationships with other team members and stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Adapt and respond to change and work effectively to resolve ambiguity.
10+ years of related work experience in large-scale transformation programmes in the areas of Core Banking or Financial Services industry.10+ years of experience in delivery leadership roles.Preferably, 5+ years of experience in delivery lifecycle roles.Preferably, 5+ years of experience with Core Banking software such as Temenos or SAP.
