Investigator Support Coordinator Role

Are you passionate about advancing healthcare and making a difference in people's lives? Do you have excellent communication and organizational skills? We're looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Investigator Support Coordinator to join our team at Labcorp.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional support to investigative sites, including managing incoming and outgoing telephone contact.
  • Resolve accession holds by working with sites, project management, and data revision personnel.
  • Notify investigator sites, sponsors, and affiliates of laboratory results, sponsor-determined flags, and test cancellations.
  • Monitor, track, and resolve accession holds, and inform the Supervisor and Project Manager of any delays.
  • Update the database with appropriate information and inform personnel of additional testing needs.
  • Support sites and sponsors with project-related questions via phone and email.
  • Adhere to management communications, meetings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist in the implementation of global processes and procedures.
  • Track and report metrics as determined by management in agreed timelines.
  • Document all service failures, resolve, and escalate to management when necessary.
  • Act as a liaison for both internal and external clients.
  • Communicate investigator site needs when new policies or procedures are discussed.
  • Instill a culture where patient safety is top priority.
  • Promptly address patient safety issues and escalate as needed for resolution.
  • Ensure the investigator's needs are explored prior to implementation of new processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum high school degree, preferably a Bachelor's degree.
  • First experience in customer service is a must.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated with strong verbal skills.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Team player with an ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple distractions while maintaining a professional manner.
  • Fluency in English and additional languages such as German, Russian, Arabic, Greek, or Italian.
  • Adaptability skills.
