We are seeking a skilled Communications Manager to join our team in Krakow, Poland.
This role will involve developing and implementing an effective internal and external communications strategy to enhance employee engagement and strengthen Aptiv's brand in Poland.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent project management skills and a passion for storytelling.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Developing Strategic Plans: Create and implement effective internal and external communications strategies aligned with Aptiv Poland's business objectives.
- Media and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, stakeholders, and other external partners.
- Content Creation: Craft compelling messages and content to enhance thought leadership, brand awareness, and employee engagement in Poland.
- Employer Branding: Collaborate with HR to develop a robust Employer Value Proposition (EVP) showcasing Aptiv's unique benefits and career opportunities.
- Crisis Communication Planning: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect Aptiv's reputation and minimize risk.
- Spokesperson Support: Provide media training and interview preparation for approved spokespersons.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with HR, business leaders, and corporate communication teams to ensure seamless internal communication and coordination of various activities.
- Global Campaigns: Localize and customize global internal communication campaigns to align with local cultural context.
- Performance Metrics: Establish measurable goals to track the effectiveness of communication programs and ensure consistency with corporate guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing Communications.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in communications at a technology company or PR agency.
- Proven track record of delivering effective communications plans in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and external communications skills, including strong writing and speaking skills and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to foster teamwork and encourage accountability with internal and external partners.
- Exceptional judgment, able to think strategically and tactically under pressure.
- Proven ability to understand complex solutions and communicate them effectively.
- Strong editorial and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience in video production, electronic messaging, and managing digital photo files.
- Self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment and on own initiative.
- Excellent English, written and spoken.
