This role reports directly to the Corporate Communications Director, EMEA, and involves enhancing employee engagement, driving corporate social responsibility, and strengthening Aptiv's brand in Poland.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Communication: Develop and implement an effective internal and external communications strategy aligned with Aptiv Poland's business priorities.
  • Media Relations: Work with Corporate Communications and external firms to manage national and local media relations and events.
  • Content Development: Create key messages and content to enhance thought leadership, brand awareness, and employee engagement in Poland.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with HR on initiatives to improve Aptiv's media presence and sentiment through a tailored PR plan.
  • Media Management: Oversee local media agency, budget, and reporting, ensuring positive exposure and mitigating negative issues.
  • Reputation Management: Protect Aptiv's reputation with approved holding statements and minimize risk through crisis communication planning.
  • Spokesperson Support: Provide media training and interview preparation for approved spokespersons.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR, business leaders, and corporate communication teams for internal communication support and coordination of various activities.
  • Global Campaigns: Localize and customize global internal communication campaigns, aligning them with local cultural context.
  • Measurement and Reporting: Implement measurable goals to track the effectiveness of communication programs, ensuring consistency and adherence to corporate guidelines.
Your Background:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Marketing Communications.
  • Communications professional with a minimum of 5+ years relevant experience at a technology company or PR agency.
  • Strong internal and external communications experience with a proven track record in delivering effective communications plans within a highly matrixed environment.
  • Sound interpersonal and external communications skills including strong writing and speaking skills and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to create a culture that fosters teamwork and encourages accountability both with internal and external partners at all levels.
  • Exceptional judgment: ability to think strategically and tactically under pressure, constantly adjusting priorities as circumstances change.
  • Proven ability to understand complex solutions and communicate them effectively to all audiences.
  • Strong editorial and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other Adobe tools and graphic design an advantage.
  • Multi-media experience in video production, electronic messaging, and managing digital photo files.
  • Self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment and on own initiative.
  • Excellent English, written and spoken.
