About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Tracing and Research Specialist to join our team at Capita. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting manual traces, researching and analyzing data, and providing expert recommendations to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual traces, including forensic research and analysis, to locate lost customers.
  • Accurately conduct trace research using various databases to proactively locate clients' lost customers.
  • Assist with death document orders, including certificates and probates.
  • Conduct peer reviews of other team members' reports and findings to ensure high-quality work.
  • Liaise with Project Leads and Team Leaders to ensure delegated projects are completed on time.
  • Ensure the security of company data and assets in line with Capita's Information Security standards.
  • Adhere to all relevant standards, guidelines, and initiatives as outlined by senior management and the business.
  • Perform other duties as agreed with the line manager.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to think creatively and laterally.
  • Ability to review information and formulate an action plan that is unique and appropriate to each case.
  • Ability to maintain visibility of project end goals while investigating smaller elements over an extended period.
  • Capable of summarizing technical information in layperson terms and making convincing recommendations.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to identify and overcome obstacles that may prevent targets from being met or subjects from being located.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (at least High B2 or C1 Standard).
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in teams.
  • Focused and self-motivated approach to work.

Essential Experience:

  • Skilled in the use of core MS Office products, including Word and Excel.
