Job Overview:

We're seeking a skilled Creative Storyteller Lead to join our team, who will be responsible for developing and executing high-quality creative content across various mediums, including short-form films and written materials. As a key member of our creative team, you'll work closely with our studio partners to drive brand growth and create engaging experiences for our players.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of brand strategy, identity, and market opportunity assessments;
  • Partner with our studio team to determine positioning, consumer target, and product features to increase brand growth and content development;
  • Distill large volumes of consumer research and market trends into actionable insights to improve player experiences and inform strategies for brand performance and activation executions;
  • Write, critique, and refine short-form pieces of product commercials;
  • Direct voice actors, external production partners, and composers with clear and actionable creative direction;
  • Pitch creative work through the lens of insights, communicating why an idea is right for our audience at this time and place;
  • Work closely with marcom strategy, brand marketing, and channel intelligence teams to develop and refine ideas based on insights and strategies;
  • Collaborate with our channel and UA teams to develop and support creative content on their channels and platforms;
  • Assume a cross-functional leadership role in promoting agreement to goals and responsibility for results across departments, including creative development, integrated communications, media, insights, publishing, and finance;
  • Partner with Consumer Insights and Analytics teams to identify opportunities and challenges across merchandising, messaging, and games to improve player experiences/results;
  • Create a culture that encourages employees to test new ways to reach and engage players and fans.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a writer within a creative agency or entertainment company;
  • Proven experience writing and executing short-form films;
  • Proven ability to execute high volumes of content at speed;
  • A deep understanding of cohesive narrative across various mediums;
  • An ability to turn insights into breakthrough ideas;
  • A love for rich mythology and culture around entertainment storytelling;
  • Familiarity with blockchain and cryptocurrencies (welcome).
